Mitzi is about 2.5 cm/1 inch from her chin to the tips of her ears. She is sculpted entirely from colored Sculpey III polymer clay, so there was no painting involved! Colors used were Vanilla Creme, Black, White, Chocolate, Sweet Potato, and a mixture of Spring Lilac and Turquoise.
Lifted the pic and info quote from my DA page, lol. I made this pendant a couple years ago. Sorry for the blurry photo; I’ll take a better one some time maybe. XD
I’m KittyPhoenix on DA, but I’m not making it any easier to find because my stuff is kinda terrible, haha. I haven’t done much with visual art in the last couple years anyways, so it won’t update any time soon.
Suppose I ought to update what the haps is with Minecraft. I haven’t been on a server since I left the “Life in Gibsonville” project. So I’ve just been chilling solo in FTB Unleashed.
This is a glimpse of my magic laboratory in progress, inside my house. I’ve succeeded in setting up much of my Thaumcraft equpment and in wearing a monocle over my pink shades. Magic is a wondrous thing.
This is an old build. From way back on the old Xerain Gaming server, when the full ranking system still existed. I had earned the C-rank (Creative) and when the Donation system first began, C’s who donated became VIP-C. A VIP-C was given their own small world to do what they pleased with.
I didn’t really know what to do with my world, but I found a neat little mountain cove and decided to build a sort of pirate area within it. I build the fortress set into the mountain, a dock stretching out from it (not pictured, unfortunately), a sewer pipe, and the Kitty Phoenix statue high out on a nearby promontory, Christ the Redeemer-style. I called my world Mewtopia, heh.
This was regular Minecraft SMP (with a good selection of Bukkit plugins) and I believe Sphax PureBDCraft textures.
EDIT: Also, the cannon out front was functional. It shot arrows from a dispenser. :3
The Gibsonville Science Arena at night! I built the exterior. Heavily influenced by architecture from Mos Eisley or Mos Espa on Tatooine (Star Wars, yep) with some hints of Portal. The owners of the project surrounded the building with all those trees afterward… Kinda made it tough to see. :(
The bulk of the structure is constructed out of warded blocks. It held perfectly during the blast testing, though I wish I could say the same for the decorative blocks and surrounding grass…
Feed The Beast Ultimate in default textures, I think.
More shots of the old Gibsonville spawn park! You can see the trellis above the fountain that I posted a couple days ago. I built everything pictured except for the big circular fountain in the center and the Testificate village in the distance.
This is the Feed The Beast Ultimate pack, in default textures. <3
Oh man, I never posted this! I’ve been posting a series of my play with the YogBox modpack! This is the first episode, but if you want to see more, go through to my channel and check out the rest! It’s up to part 6 now.
Long time no post, I know! I’ve been busy with my YouTube channel, work, social outings, and…getting membership on the VoxelBox server! :D
These are pics from the build that earned me whitelisting from KupoKupo herself! I was so nervous and stoked at the same time. Awesome to have got approval from one of my building heroes.
It’s TakoKat, takoyaki restaurant built by KittyPhoenix (me!). Far from perfect, but I really challenged myself with a design and building type I’ve never really tried. It was a bit on the fly and rushed, since a Guest area wipe was going to arrive any moment…
(Check out the VoxelBox at the site and their wiki page!)
